Great Halloween Drawing Contest

Official Contest Rules
- Eligibility: Open to all K–8 students. Categories are judged in three age divisions:
- Elementary School (Grades K–2)
- Elementary School (Grades 3-5)
- Middle School (Grades 6–8)
- Theme: "The Great Halloween Kitty Parade" — Draw a Halloween Costume on the Cat.
- Artwork Requirements:
- Must be original, hand-drawn artwork on 8.5" x 11" or 11" x 17" paper/canvas.
- Acceptable media: Markers, colored pencils, crayons, acrylics, watercolors
- AI creations will be disqualified
- No copyrighted characters (e.g., Garfield, Cheshire Cat) allowed.
- To submit entries in person visit one of our adoption events:
- Petco San Ramon Saturdays 11am to 3pm
- Petco Castro Valley Saturdays 1pm to 5pm
- Petco Dublin Wednesdays 3:3-pm to 5:30pm

- Submission Deadline: Friday, October 9, 2026 by 5:00 PM.
- Prizes: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes awarded per division, including gift cards, art supplies and gift baskets as well as have their artwork displayed at our Hisses and Howls Halloween Party
