The Feral Cat Foundation, like most shelters and rescue groups, is often running at or beyond capacity. Timing is everything when it comes to being able to take in new cats or kittens.  Foster homes and vet appointments are limited resources. Please be patient with the ladies who answer our hotline. They respond to many calls each day and often have no choice but refer to other resources.

If you are interested in borrowing trap(s) and most importantly, are willing to recover and continue to feed your feral cat upon its release back in its home neighborhood, please contact our hotline (925-829-9098) and leave a message to that effect. FCF traps are never to be used to take any animal (wild or domestic) to the pound nor remove them permanently from their home neighborhood.

FCF is an all-volunteer group with no sanctuary and members working out of their homes on behalf of the feral and homeless cats in Alameda and Contra Costa counties. We thank you for your understanding.
